Elizabeth Barbara Roessner has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, and her loving husband George Roessner. She leaves behind four children, Kathleen Barcliffe (William), Victoria Harm, Duffy Corn (Michael), and George Roessner (Rita). She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was born to Else and Emil Billich in Perth Amboy. She later moved to Springfield where she met her husband, and raised their family.
Elizabeth, Babe, Liz, Lizzy, The Red Baron, Mom, was given many loving nick-names. She had varied careers as a deli owner, office manager, seamstress for the local theater, nurse, but mostly Mom and Grandmom. She enjoyed ceramics almost as much as she loved gardening, African Violets were her favorite.
She eventually moved to Crestwood Village in Whiting, where she enjoyed her retirement with her many friends.
