Dear Aunt Betty,  I know you are at peace now, and healed wholly.  But I must say taht at the moment I am sooooooo lost with out you.  2 years I helped take care of you, was there pretty much 7 days a week, doing what every you needed me to do.  all I ever wanted was for you to be comfortable and know how much I loved you, and what you really meant to me.  I know that sometimes you thought you were a burden to me, but YOU NEVER WERE!   I think you finally understood that when you told me I was your 3rd daughter, and I asked you if you thought that way, didn't you want your daughters and son around you to help.  I think then we came to an understanding.  You knew you were always more than and Aunt to me, from childhood, to now, you have and will always be my 2nd mom.  I love and miss you.  and I just want you and everyone to know that I consider it an honor to have been there for you, and for you to treat me just like your child.  I will always mourn you,as I still mourn my mother.  Aunt Betty you have left more of a legacy and a true faith in God to me then you will ever know.  Your walk was strengthing for me, as my mother's was.  it is easy for us to say trust God in all things, but it is something else to witness someone live that life!  You are an inspiration to me, and always will be.  And I am not ashamed to say that I am feeling very lost with out you here.  I know I need time to mourn, and I haven't had it yet, but I will.  I see butterflys all around me lately and have never seen one before your death, as amazing as that sounds.  I know when I see one now that you and the Lord are there with me, and I am NOT ALONE.  I thank you for all the love and support you have given me all my life.  You are gone, physically, but spiritually and emotionally you will always be with me.  I am so glad that I have such a wonderful relationship with all your children and that we will all be there for each other.  I know you can't see this, but I want the world to know how much you meant to me.  I love and miss you so much every day.  I still feel like I should be there everyday taking care of you, not going into an empty house.  But God knows what is best and I am trusting Him to help me and my family (your kids) and our other family to get us all through this time.  Please family and friends, don't pray for aunt Betty, she is fine, healed and happy, please keep us, the immediate family in your prayers to help us deal with our loss.  And it was a great loss for us all indeed!  May the Lord, our Saviour bless all who read this and pray for us, and may He keep you safe and in His hands.  The one thing my aunt would want everyone to know is that she wants you Saved, and to know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and have a personal relationship with Him.  That was always her prayer for all her loved ones and her friends.  So for her I am going to ask that you search your hearts and come to know the Jesus that my aunt knows, and helped her through this tough time.  As well as helping us through it because we too believe.  My prayer is from and for my aunt, may all who read this, May the Lord Jesus Christ touch your hearts, minds, spirit and soul, may He open your heart to Him and His words and His truths.  This I pray in Jesus' Name for my aunt Betty and us, her family.  I love you Aunt Betty

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your Mother. My good memories go back a long way to Orange Ave in Irvington. My deepest sympathy to your family at this sad, difficult time.

Betty, Cozzi, Bobby, Maria and Joanie became my family in 1962.  They opened up their hearts to a newly arrived Cuban family; that family was, and is, forever grateful to them.  In time, Betty became my second mother.  I thank God for the blessings He bestowed upon us that warm August of 1962, for then He sent an Angel named Elizabeth Zoppi into our lives.  Betty you will forever live in my heart.

To the family. I know the last years were a struggle in this life for Betty. She was a strong believer in God's grace and peace and though the body failed, her spirit lives. I pray for continued strength and peace for the family and friends that knew her well. She was a STRONG WILLED, GIFTED AND CARING woman; who's talents were used of God in Church and in the places she volunteered. Love to you all.

Dear Family, May the love of God, family and friends help you through your time of loss and the great memories you have help to ease the pain. God, may she rest in peace.

Grandma even though I am going to miss you terribly and love you so very much I know that you are pain free and at peace with the Lord and our family that has already passed on. I know you are in heaven rejoicing right now.  Its going to be so hard not being able to see your beautiful face anymore, hear your bible studies, get the arts and crafts from you that you are so good at making or losing to you at phase 10, but we will meet again one day in heaven and until then i know you will always be in my heart. I love you so very much now and always!

Aunt Betty, I will miss you so much, you will always be remembered and loved.  I am going to miss you so very much. You were always my 2nd mom, and I am honored that I was able to be a part of your life during your sickness and death.  I am honored that I was with you when you passed and was able to be holding your hand while you passed.
