Francois Lefevre

Francois L. Le Fevre, 73 of Whiting, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9. 2012 at Monmouth Medical Center. Francois was born in Brussels, Belgium and moved to the United States 48 years ago and has lived in Whiting ( Pasadena) for 40 years.

He moved to his dream house that he designed and help build. He retired as a Mechanical Engineer and enjoyed spending his free time outdoors. Francois was pasionate about working out and lived a healthy lifestyle. He loved to run, hike and ski ( usually only black diamonds). He participated in many 5K races and would often win for his age group. He was also a triathlete.Francois enjoyed to travel and urged his children to travel the world. He encouraged his children to work hard and Never give up. His key phrase to his kids were: " Dont tell me what your not going to do, Tell me what you are going to do!!" The list is shorter".

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Helene Le Fevre, his two sons, Jean-Pierre and his wife Moira, Jean- Claude and daughter. His daughter Nadine and husband Michael. His grandchildren, Claudia, Aliyah, Jack, Paige and Chloe.

The viewing will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral home, 115 Lacey Raod , Whiting, NJ 08759 on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 10:00am to 12:00 followed by the burial at Chatsworth Cemetary.
