John Scott, 52, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away unexpectedly at home Thursday February 16, 2023. He was a Technical Project Consultant at Bank of America in Pennington, NJ for several years. He graduated from Kean University and began his career at Bank of America initially in Charlotte, NC before coming to Pennington. John was an avid sports fan who loved travel as well.
Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Union Beach and Toms River before relocating to North Carolina and before more recently coming to Whiting.
John is predeceased by his father, the late John S. Scott in 2017. He is survived by his broken hearted mother Agnes, other relatives both here and in Scotland along with many of friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 26 from 2-5pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday at 10:45am from the All Saints Chapel at St Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 School House Rd. Whiting. Committal will be private.
