Lucy Abatemarco, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Lucy lived in Brooklyn, Carteret and Florida before moving to Whiting 30 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Vincent and her brothers, Anthony, Carmine and Vincent. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Louise and Paul Hockenbury of Florida, her son and daughter in law Michael and Ellen Abatemarco of Jackson, NJ. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul and Tara, and her great grandchildren, Jacsyn, Vincent and Leah.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 6 from 4-8pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:45am from the Chapel at St Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting. Committal will follow at the Whiting Memorial Park, Rt 530 Whiting.
