Lynn was a next door neighbor of mine and became a dear friend after I moved to Whiting in 2015, after a horrible divorce. She, my neighbor Butch, and I had many deep conversations about life, love, God, our mistakes and laments, our joys and sorrows. Rollicking and fun conversations too. Disagreements, of course. She was a great friend. I only wish I wasn't so mired in my own nonsense so that I could've more enjoyed her company, her zest for life.
