Michael Patrick Martin, 75, of Whiting, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey. Michael was born and raised in Harlem, New York. In his later years, he lived in Lodi, New Jersey & the last 15+ years lived in Whiting, New Jersey.
Michael worked in construction in New York City, most notably working at The World Trade Towers and The Plaza Hotel. He enjoyed the ocean, bay and making crosses to share Jesus.
Michael was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Janice; his 3 children, Lisa & her husband Jim, Sarah & husband Joe and Michael, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Valerie and Sean; and 2 great-grandchildren, Gianna & Ava. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Annette, Anna & Catherine; his 2 brothers, Ralphie & Dominick; and many nieces, nephews & cherished friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. in Whiting, NJ. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00PM at the funeral home.
