Orlando V. Sabatini

Orlando V. Sabatini, 94, recently of Whiting, NJ passed away Tuesday, August 25, at Community Medical center, Toms River, NJ. He was a class waiter in the hotel industry having worked at some of the finest hotels in the world most recent the luxurious Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina he was raised in Italy coming to the United States in 1959. He resided in New York City most of his life retiring to Whiting in 1994. He participated in activities at the Crestwood Village V Clubhouse where he loved to dance and loved his family above all else.

Orlando is survived by his wife Eugenia of 8 years. He is also survived by his children Christina Mleczkowski & her husband Daniel and Patrick Sabatini & his wife Mary Lou. He also is survived by his 7 grandchildren, Michael Sabatini & his wife Jennifer, Stephen Sabatini & his wife Elizabeth, Stephanie, Jillianne, Theodore, Nicole, Benjamin, and 2 great grandchildren Mason and Liliana.

Friends may visit on Friday, August 28 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Saturday, August 29, at 10:45am from the All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting. Entombment will follow at the Whiting Memorial Park, 600 Cty. Rte. 530 Whiting, NJ.
