Shirley Ann Ryan, 70, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away Saturday, March 16 at home surrounded by family. She, together with her husband Charles were the owners of the Sugar Pine Kennel in Manchester. She retired in 2010. She was an avid quilter and loved to sew. Shirley was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Whiting and of its choir and loved her family above all else.
Born in Trenton, she resided there for many years coming to Whiting in 2013. She is predeceased by her husband of 24 years, the late Charles Ryan in 2013. Shirley is survived by her children, Christopher Fenton & his wife Natalie, Joseph Fenton & a daughter in law Dawn Holmes, Patrick Fenton, a stepson Dan Ryan & his wife Rachael She is also survived by her siblings, a sister Loretta Jobes & her husband Charles, a brother Ronald Parker, and a brother Ralph Parker and his wife Terri. Shirley is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Michael Fenton & his wife Amanda, Ambre Fenton, Mitchell Fenton, Mason Fenton, Maddy Ryan, Anna Ryan, Benjamin Ryan, Alyssa Fenton, Antony Fenton, & Nikko Fenton.
Friends may call on Wednesday, March 20, from 5-9pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting.
Funeral Services will be offered on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10am from the Christ Lutheran Church, 40 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. Committal will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. In Lieu of Flowers, the family respectfully request considering donations to the Christ Lutheran Church. Or to the Metavivor Organization.
