Ann M. Bowlen

Funeral Services are 1 PM Friday June 22, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday June 21, 2012 at the funeral home.

Ann was born in McKees Rocks, PA on August 23, 1928 to Joseph and Angelana (Montesano) Manfred. Ann came to Wichita Falls, TX after graduating from high school. Ann loved to travel, play cards and cook for her family, especially their favorite birthday dinners. She was blessed to get to travel to Italy to the birthplace of her parents.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her first husband Finley E. Mummert, infant son Terry, two brothers, James and Joseph Manfred and two sisters, Millie Lasher and Helen Coffman.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Earl Bowlen, her son; Danny Mummert and wife B-Kay and their children Brad Mummert, Megan Deason and husband Zach and Braden Mummert, son; Donald Mummert and wife Stephanie and their children Caroline Torbett and husband Tyler and Christina Thomas, son; David Mummert and wife Sheri and their children Michael & Morgan Mummert. Also 2 step-children, Judy McCauley and Ronnie Bowlen of Amarillo, TX, 5 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.

The family requests a donation to Hospice of Wichita Falls in lieu of flowers.
