

Bryan Edward Kirk, 51, of Wichita Falls, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 12, 2024. Born on August 10, 1973, in Chicago, IL, Bryan was a man of deep faith, unwavering love for his family, and an enduring passion for the Chicago Cubs.
A memorial service celebrating Bryan's life will be held at 11 AM on August 22, 2024, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Funeral Home.
Bryan’s life was a testament to his faith. He was a devoted follower of Christ, and his love for Jesus was evident in the way he lived— extending kindness, compassion, and understanding. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at North Texas State Hospital, Bryan combined his professional skills with his Christian values, offering care and support to those in need with an empathetic heart. On July 29, 1999, Bryan married the love of his life, Mistee Sanderson. Their marriage was a beautiful reflection of his commitment to family, filled with joy, laughter, and love. Bryan was a dedicated husband and a loving father to his two daughters, Mollee and Bree. He cherished every moment spent with them, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love. Bryan was also a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs, a passion he carried from his childhood in Chicago. Through victories and losses, he remained a loyal supporter, sharing his love for the team with his family and friends. The Cubs were more than just a team to Bryan—they were a source of joy, tradition, and connection to his roots.
Bryan is survived by his beloved wife, Mistee Kirk; his daughters, Mollee Kirk and her fiancé Jody Roberts, and Bree Kirk; his brothers, David Shannon and Jason Nava; his bonus daughter, Codi Schroeder; his father, Howard Kirk and wife Kris Kirk; his sisters, Kelly Toris, Kym Cullar, and Krissy Caplinger; and his longtime friends, Aaron Williams, Robby Spencer, Ivory Daniels, and James 'Bit' Palmer. He was a cherished uncle to Nathan and Taylor King, Chloe, Claire, and Connor Cullar, Olivia, Sophia, and Natalia Toris, and Hannah, Jonah, Jeriah, and Priscillah Caplinger. Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Mulick; and mother-in-law, Debby Kaye Sanderson.
