Carolyn Sue Murehead

She married James Murehead on July 19, 1958 and celebrated 63 years together. She worked at City National and First National Banks before becoming a full time mom and homemaker.

She was active in PTA, Brownies and Girl Scouts for her girls. She encouraged and helped to make sure her girls were active and successful in their growing years.

She enjoyed spending time with her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a hands on Nanny to them and all their friends.

She enjoyed her Bingo and Casino trips. She had recently moved to Royal Estates and was enjoying being in an active and social environment. She never missed a Bingo day.

The family would like to thank Intrepid Home Health for taking such good care of her. Lynsie, Mom loves you.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ken Hale, husband James Murehead, daughter Cynthia Bills, sister-in-law Debbie Wiswell and grandson Kyle Young.

She is survived by daughters Renae Young (Brad) and Carol Todd (Joe), sister Helen Yancey (Max), brother Don Hale (Sue), sister-in-law Anita Hale, brother-in-law Tom Murehead (Betty), sister-in-law Thelma Hutchinson, brother-in-law Hershel Wiswell, Grandchildren Brandy Garcia (Ruben), Mindy Ross (Rob), Eric Young, Payton Ernest, Ryan Todd (Madison), Ross Todd and Hannah Todd. She also had 5 Great Grandchildren and numerousnieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 15, at 10:00 AM. The family will receive visitors in the gathering room following the service. The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, TX.
