Carolyn Stouard

Janice Carolyn Stouard, 71, of Wichita Falls passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Wichita Falls. She was born on July 2, 1944 in Jacksboro, TX to the late Cecil Gilbert Hughes and Clara Otta Turner Hughes. On July 16, 1966 she married James Preston Stouard in Jacksboro, TX. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2001. Janice was an executive assistant at Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind and was a member of Spark Springs Second Advent Christian Church in Perrin, TX. She was devoted to her family and loved her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by son, Gilbert Stouard and wife Sheri of Wichita Falls and their children, Daniel Gast Stouard, Sonia Gast Stouard, Mason Stouard and Londyn Stouard; son, Richard Stouard and wife Meghan of Corinth, TX and their son, Jaxson Stouard; brother, Gene Hughes of Perrin, TX. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Forrest Hughes and Calvin Hughes.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Minton officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
