Charlie was born on June 7, 1953 in Big Spring, Texas to W. P. and Doris Olds Brown. He married Kay Meacham on December 28, 1972. He was the Sr. Director of Operations for a uniform rental company and had lived in the Magnolia area for 25 years, moving from Arlington, Texas. He loved taking care of his beautiful yard. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Johnny Mack Brown, Jerry Wayne Brown, and Jay Murphy; and a sister: Joyce Jessup.
He is survived by his wife: Kay Brown of Magnolia; sons: Jason Brown of Willis, Texas and Kevin Brown, wife Kristin and their daughter: Addie of Katy, Texas; and his sister: Bonnie Jones and husband Kenneth of Wichita Falls.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 5 – 7 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
