

Edwin Krebs, 89, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Edwin was born July 7, 1926 in Wichita Falls to Frank and Frieda Krebs. He married Diana Reis in Wichita Falls in 1955. First and foremost Ed was a loving husband and father. He was a general contractor and owner of Krebs Construction Company for over 50 years. Ed served in World War II and was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he served on many committees and was a member of the administrative board. Following his retirement, he donated his time and skills to Whispers of Hope which he truly enjoyed. He was a very giving and generous man and he always put God and his family first.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel; burial to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Officiating the service will be Rev. Justin Miller and Rev. David Bradley. A Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Monday, September 14, at Hampton Vaughan.
Edwin is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frieda Krebs; brother, Ivan Krebs, and nephew Mike Heginbotham.
Survivors include Diana, his wife of 60 years, two daughters, Karen Brock and husband Lane; Vicky Page and husband Todd, three grandchildren, Kim Baber and husband Bryon; Elaine Brownlee and husband Ky; and Ben Page, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Virginia Heginbotham and husband Lloyd; Velma Bradly and husband Dave, and many nieces and nephews.
