Elaine K. English

Services will be held 3PM Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel. Elaine will lay in state on February 16, 2021 for friends to sign her guest book.

Ms. English was born April 13, 1954 in Burkburnett, TX to John Thomas and Reba Mae (Thompson) English. She worked at Levi Strauss and then at Howmet for many years.

She was an avid gardener that nurtured and loved her outside gardens and her many inside plants. She enjoyed being part of her Facebook garden sites and discussing the growth and details of the different plants and proper care for them. Elaine also loved almost more than anything , the Dallas Cowboys! She believed in them and stood behind them no matter how their season turned out! Her other love and her strongest were her cats. Her love for them was very evident in her everyday life. She believed in spayed and neuter programs for all animals and always was doing her part to keep feral cats from having unwanted litters. Elaine was part of the Neighborhood watch program and participated in the Sheriff's Citizen Academy. She enjoyed her many friends and getting together for parties, dinners, and plant sales.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth Wayne English and Winfred Leon English.

Survivors include her sweet and loving cats and her many friends who she quickly made through common interests.
