

Frederick S. Wilson, age 78, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born on August 2, 1946 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Alan Woodrow Wilson and Elizabeth Ann Hodges Wilson.
His service in the United States Air Force brought him to Sheppard Air Force Base in May of 1965, where he met the love of his life Becky Ann Sutton, and they were married July 22, 1966. Frederick was a Vietnam Veteran. While on active duty he served in the Vietnam War for one year in 1968.
He was preceded in death by his wife Becky A. Wilson, son Frederick B. Wilson, brother Doug Wilson and sister Julie Young.
He is survived by his daughter Tressa Digby and husband Brad, grandchildren, Ashley Ferguson and husband Steven, Bradley Digby and wife Sarah, 4 great grandchildren; Dax, Ryder, Eliana, and Grayson, sisters; Linda Kantor and husband Jon, Brenda Sloan and husband Dane, Beverly Bruce and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frederick served his Lord and Savior with all his heart. He loved his family and also loved helping others.
Once his active duty in the Air Force was over, he went to work at Scales Concrete and eventually became self-employed. He poured concrete for 52 years and was always busy working, hunting, fishing, gardening, or working on the land. He was always on the lookout for the buck he called “Bullwinkle”. We love you Daddy, we will miss you every day, but know we will see you soon.
A funeral service for Frederick will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302.
