Bubba graduated from Del Rio High School with the Class of 1979. In 1980, he entered the marine core, answering a call to serve with courage and steadfast commitment. That same sense of duty and quiet strength shaped the way he lived each day—steady, faithful, and grounded in what mattered most.
Throughout his working life, Bubba was known as a hard-working and honest man who approached responsibilities with care and purpose. He carried his work ethic into everything he did, including his years at Stanley Tools and Quail Plastics, where he worked until retirement. In all things, he was thoughtful and dependable—someone others could count on without hesitation.
Away from work, Bubba found peace in simple, meaningful pursuits: fishing, working outdoors, and gardening and spending time with his dog. These were the places where his gentle spirit and kind heart were most easily seen—patient, present, and content in the quiet rhythms of the day.
Above all, bubba was beloved and cherished for the way he loved his family and stood by those he cared for. He was not just a brother, but a steady presence—a devoted friend, son, and brother whose compassion and loyalty were felt in countless ways, often without needing words. His life mattered. He made a difference not only in what he did, but in who he was. Though he is no longer with us, his example, his strength, and the memories shared will remain always.
Bubba is survived by his father, Jimmy Harley; his mother, Mary Harley; his brothers, Ron Harley (Eileen Harley), Jerry Harley Tanya Harley), and Eric Harley (Barbara); his sister, Cindy Wynne (Lee Wynne); numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a aunt and a uncle.
Funeral Service will be held at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302, on April 25, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
