George F Miller Jr.

George F. Miller Jr., (86), passed away on November 10, 2023. George was born on June 15, 1937 to Beryl and George Miller in Easton, PA. After graduation from Easton High School in 1955, he spent a career in the Air Force including a tour in Viet Nam and retired as Senior Master Sergeant. After leaving the Air Force, and retiring in Wichita Falls, George went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education from Midwestern State University. He then spent a second career as an Instructor at Sheppard AFB. A dedicated fan of the local high school and college football teams, George would often spend Friday and Saturday nights at Memorial Stadium cheering on the young men who played for Old High, Rider, and Hirschi High Schools as well as the Indians and now Mustangs of Midwestern State. While he loved football and his family, he was just as happy to spend a quiet evening reading a good book or watch a movie with his wife, and faithfully walk his beloved dog, Mindy.

George is survived by his wife Toyoko and two children, Michael and Susan. George desired no fanfare with his passing and would like those who wish to remember him to give a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Humane Society of Wichita Falls.
