I am so sorry to hear that Jim has passed away. I have known him for 35 years and had him for a supervisor for 25 years. He was always kind but stern the way a supervisor should be. He had good common sense that made him an excellent man and supervisor. He helped me many times during my career with the Postal Service. I considered him to be the best supervisor and a great friend to me. He will truly be missed.

Jim was my first supervisor when I started to work for the USPS. I remember when he gave me my 1st paycheck, I said Thank you. He looked at me and said: No, I thanked you and appreciated you coming to work every day.
He was kind to coworkers and loved his family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
