Harlan Paul Stratton, 92 of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Wichita Falls. He was born on July 10, 1921 in Newport, KY to the late Harlan Stratton and Gladys Marie Huff Stratton. On February 14, 1948 he married Lillian Hartmann in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Stratton retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Master Sgt. He served in the Pacific, WW II and the Korean War. Mr. Stratton was a Shriner, 32° Mason and was a member of the Dallas Scottish Rite, and VFW Post 2147.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Stratton of Wichita Falls; two children, Susan Case of Gainesville and Paul Stratton and wife Susan of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Jessica Knotts, Frank James, Stacy Jones, Ariel Ogletree, Holley Beam, Mallory Case and Shaun Stratton; 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Ogletree and a grandchild, Brennan Perryman.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with David Swanson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Crestview Memorial Park Garden Mausoleum.
