Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Tuesday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Mausoleum Chapel.
Mrs. Stapleton was born March 23, 1931 in Vernon, TX to Henry L. and Ola (Dixon) Simmons. She was retired from Wichita County Court House where she was the Deputy County Clerk.
Survivors include, son, Mike and wife Joy Stapleton, daughter Sharon Stapleton, Carolyn and husband Gary Donohue, Tracey and husband Ken Johnson, daughter-in-law, Sherry Stapleton; grandchildren, Mark and wife Katie Stapleton, Lacey Turner, Chad and wife Robyn Donohue, Blake and wife Ashley Stapleton; great grandchildren, Jackson, Peyton, Jordyn, Karsyn, Emmy, and Kaylee; sister, Annette Burns; Bonus Family, Jeff and wife Nanette Blacklock, and their children Ben, Kaleb, and Spencer; Nieces Lynn Burns and husband Kenny, and Laurie Cobble and husband Jimmy; numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Ola Simmons, 2 sons, Ricky Stapleton, and Randy Stapleton; favorite brother-in-law, Jimmy Burns.
