Joyce was an outgoing and kind person who was quick to make you her friend. She always had a twinkle in her eye and enjoyed finding the lighter side of even complex situations. She loved having friends and family over, giving her an opportunity to display her artistic talent in amazing birthday cake creations, as well as in organizing family get-togethers and outings. Her innate joy, gigantic heart and forgiving nature made a huge impact on more people than she could ever realize. Despite the many health problems she struggled with in the recent past, she always put the needs of others before her own, earning her a fitting and final nickname: Earth Angel.
