June was born on October 16, 1955 to Millard and Helen Deck in Andrews, TX. After graduating from Eunice High School in 1974 she started her little family. She went on to graduate from Cameron University in 2001 with a degree in psychology and embarked on a career as a Licensed Professional counselor.
June was known for her love of quilting. She loved being a mom and spending time with her daughters Alicia and Krista. However, nothing prepared her for the love she would feel when her grandchildren were born. Her world revolved around her family and her grandbabies.
June was predeceased by her parents Millard and Helen Deck. She is survived by her husband Steve Bitz, her children Alicia Whatley and Krista Timmons, her grandchildren Samiara Timmons, Kady Timmons, Matthew Bitz, Ashley Bitz, Sage Martell and her brother Gary Deck.
Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls on Friday, August 4th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Women’s Shelters in Wichita Falls, an organization she felt strongly about.
