He was born in Grandfield, Oklahoma June 12, 1926 to George William and Pleasant Zann (Cantwell) Sadler and resided there throughout his childhood.
Leo lived the life of a God fearing man and was kind to all. His passion was hunting, trapping and fishing as he was growing up along the banks of the Red River in Oklahoma and continued into adulthood. Upon moving to Wichita Falls in the 1950’s, he owned and operated a television and radio repair shop for many years and later became an insurance associate as well as district manager for American General Life Insurance Co. Proficient with many musical instruments, especially the guitar and keyboard he loved singing and performing bluegrass, gospel and country music.
He was the middle child of eleven siblings, all of which have preceded him in the afterlife. Five brothers: Thomas Alva, William Alexander, Samuel, Kirby and Eddie Joe and five sisters: Sylvia Faye, Anetta, Lois, Wanda and Deloris. Also preceding him in the afterlife is his first wife, Genevieve Mae (Barry) of 40 years, two of his children, John E Weese II and Michael H Weese, his wife of a second marriage, Mary Helen (Pullen-Palmer) as well as many lifelong friends. He is survived by children, Darla (Mike) Hamilton of Paul’s Valley, Okla, Teri J Hansford of Trinidad, CO and David A Sadler of Wichita Falls, Tx., many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
