Margie Dobbs

Margie was born on April 15, 1940, to the late Lawrence Osborne and Minnie Marie Vanover Osborne in Ryan, Oklahoma. She attended Waurika High School and received her GED. She received her LVN license from the State of Texas through the Bethania School of Nursing. She retired from the North Texas State Hospital in 2002.

Margie was full of life and love. She loved her Dallas Cowboys. She was an avid reader and adored her British comedies. She was very eclectic in the things she liked. She was an animal lover with her latest companions being Jack and Salsa. She loved everything about nature and collected rocks from everywhere she traveled. She loved to grow plants and had a green thumb. She was a very gifted self-taught painter. She was fun, funny and witty and loved to play games with her family and laughing. She loved her Lord and Savior and spent her entire life serving in some capacity from teaching Sunday School to all ages and serving on the Home Mission Board.

She is preceded in death by husband of 44 years Buddy Boyd and her brother Millard Osborne, sister Louise Allen, and brother John Osborne. She is survived by husband of 21 years Pete Dobbs, and her sister-in-law Connie Virgadamo, brother-in-law Tommy Dobbs (Marilyn). Her children include Alisa Burns (Scott), Woody Boyd (Denise), Donna Boyd-Johnson, Steven Boyd, Greg Boyd (Shari), Shelia Dobbs Roehrig (Van), and David Dobbs (Kelly).

Her grandchildren include John Mauricio (Janyth), Jessica Price (Clint), Ruthi Hernandez (Vince), Mary Burns Schreiber, Randi Hughes (Rick), Kristen Baldwin (Kevin), Ashley Pike (Jake), Michael Boyd, Amanda Conrad (Josh), Samantha Vincent (Jacob), Jordan Boyd (Matthew), Dana Boyd Griffin (Josh), Douglas Boyd (Anna), Justin Boyd, Destiny Boyd, Rachael Bush, Michael Bush, Chelsea Lee, Bryan Rheault, Jason Roehrig, Matthew Roehrig, Alison Roehrig, DJ Dobbs, Lexi Dobbs, Nick Dobbs, Brenan Dobbs, Joseph Dobbs, Cody Crawford (Jerha), Heather Hobbs (Jeremy), Jeri Crawford.

Her great Grandchildren include Isaac Mauricio, Daniel Mauricio, Brianna Cobb (OJ), Lincoln Price, Isana Price, Elena Hernandez, Holden Schreiber, Mathen Hughes, Parker Hughes, Joshua Hughes, Savanna Guyette, Kayleigh Guyette, Cameron Baldwin, Fairah Pike, Rowan Pike, Thorin Pike, Olivia Conrad, Bladyn Boyd, Christian Griffin, Jameson Griffin, Emmaleene Griffin, Indi Boyd, Aubrey Boyd, Marlon Boyd, Bradley Bush, Alexis Bush, Gracie Rheault, Murphy Dobbs, Kit Dobbs. Her great, great grandchild is Rocco Cobb.

Margie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and ‘BAdopted’ loved ones that were deeply entrenched in her heart.
