Mattie Emilee Hutchison Duncan

Emilee Duncan, 90, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, February 18, 2010 in Wichita Falls. A funeral service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Chapel officiated by Reverend Ron Barnard. Interment is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. after the service at Seymour Cemetery in Seymour, TX.

Emilee was born August 4, 1919 near Seymour to Nathan Elmer and Rosa Etta (Manley) Hutchison. In 1939 she married James Thomas Duncan in Seymour and together they raised four wonderful children. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to play 42. She was an active member of Heritage Assembly of God. Her life revolved around her church, her family and their visits.

Mrs. Duncan is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, James Thomas Duncan in 2002; sisters, Lennie Crawford, Arlis Lemons, Annabelle Jaco; and brother, John Marvin Hutchison.

Survivors include her devoted children and their spouses, Willie Jo and Billy J. Norwood of Graham, TX, Stan and Mitzi Duncan of Arlington, James Randal and Donna Marie Duncan of Plano, Donna Kay and Dail Ray Price of Lakeside City; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cledia and Leonard Witt, Lois Sturgeon, Imogene and John D. Graves all of Seymour; grandchildren, Stephen, Pamela, Michael, Michelle, Robert, Dustin, Amanda, Deanna; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
