She was born February 11, 1940 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ward and Evelyn Parker.
She went to school in Wichita Falls, attending Carrigan Elementary, Reagan Jr. High and graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High in 1958. She was very proud to be a Coyote. When the Rider baseball team went to State in 2005, she was quick to let you know it took a Coyote, Coach, Kerry Hargrove, to get them there.
Pat’s working life was in banking. She went to work at City National Bank in 1958 and retired from First National Bank of Byers Cattleman’s Branch in 2002.
She supported Staci, Lance and DJ in all their interests over the years. She especially enjoyed being in the Mother’s Club while Lance played football and baseball at Rider. She was also thrilled when DJ chose Old High and was a Coyote, too.
Pat is survived by her daughter Staci Stampfli, her son Lance Stampfli, her grandsons DJ Edwards and Daniel Clements, and her sister Jo Caddell. She is also survived by her nephews Mark McQuerry and Matt McQuerry, her niece Tara Morgan, along with 8 great nephews, 2 great nieces, 2 great great nephews, one great great niece with another great great niece on the way. Pat also leaves behind her best friend of 76 years Gail Simpson, and her friend and neighbor since 1959 Joyce Murdock, who seldom left her side since we brought Mom home on August 28th under hospice care.
A graveside celebration of Pat’s life is scheduled on Wednesday, September 23 at 11:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park. At Mom’s request there will be no visitation or viewing.
