Paul Holgin Jr.

Services have been scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Antonio Cantu. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Paul was born June 18, 1939 in Munday, Texas to Ysabel (Perez) and Paul Holgin, Sr. In 1979 he married Rosario Santamaria in Chicago. He was a truck driver for 25 years for Chisholm & Sons. Paul retired from Chief Auto Parts. He was a very active member of Ministerio De Gracia Church. He taught Sunday School often and visited nursing homes and hospitals to spread the word of the Lord. Paul was the center of his large loving family where he loved to cook and have family and friends gather, or round them up and go on a trip together.

Mr. Holgin is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Guadalupe Holgin, Jose Samuel Holgin; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Hernandez.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Rosario; four children and their spouses, Claudia and John Paul Holgin of Arlington, TX, Dorys Francys and Richard Vasquez of CA, Manuel and Summer Santamaria of Wichita Falls, Paula and Charles Cortinaz of Carrollton, TX; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Estevan Sigala of Wichita Falls, Judy Holgin of Mesquite; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Beatrice Holgin of Fort Worth, TX; thirteen grandchildren, Viktoriah, Kristalynda, Gustavo, Antonio, Ruben, Brandon, Alejandro, Vannessa, Andrew, Manuel Jr, Miguel, Mateo, Marley; and his three beloved dogs, Julay, Leo, and Kia.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
