On 2 February 2026 at the age of 83, Alton Raymond Vest of Wichita Falls went to be with Lord and family. His friends and family knew him as “Ray”. He was a loving, caring man and loved his family, friends, and strangers.
Ray is preceded in death by his father and Mother, James and Bessie Vest and Brothers, Jarrell, Farrell, Billy, and Arlin Vest.
Ray is survived by his wife Frances Vest of 59 years, who was his angel and rock in life, and his children Sherri Vest (Youngman), Michael Vest, and Bryan Vest, 9 grandchildren and several Great grandchildren.
Ray was a great man that loved all he met and never expected anything in return. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Services will be held on February 27, 2026, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302 at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
