

Regina Chambers went to her heavenly home on April 30, 2023. She was born July 16, 1949 to Reginald and Nine Carraway in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Houston and graduated from Milby High School. She went to Glen Tillerson modeling school and attended Houston Community College. She had a wonderful career working in the banking industry for Compass Bank and retired from Amergy Bank. She was intelligent, honest, worked hard and became a very successful woman. She loved all animals and enjoyed taking care of pets for her friends. Regina attended St Cyril Catholic Church in Houston, Texas.
Her favorite place to visit was Lake Tahoe where she went many times with good friends to ski and enjoy the mountains. She loved going to Galveston Beach and taking her mother to Kemah. She had a beautiful smile and fun sense of humor. Regina was so kind to everyone. She had so many dear friends in Houston. Special family friends are Larry and Lisa Lehman, daughters Lauren and Lillian, Donna and Jerry Young, Darrell Brewer and so many more.
She is preceded in death by her parents Reginald Carraway, Nina and Lawrence Jeffers.
She is survived by her sister Patty Pebworth and husband Randy, nephews Ryan Alexander and wife Jill, Randy Alexander and wife Rita, her great nieces and nephew, Sienna, Vera, Rose, Rhys and Ruby.
With grace she endured a lengthy Parkinson's illness. The family offer gratitude to the wonderful nurses and aides at House of Hope, Wichita Falls and Hospice of Wichita Falls.
A memorial service to celebrate the amazing life of Regina Chambers will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel, Wichita Falls, Texas. The family requests donations in her memory to be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
