Robert Walters, 60 of Wichita Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at United Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 30, 1950 in Wichita Falls to the late John Daniel Walters and Mattie Lee Dea Walters. In 1968 he graduated from Rider High School. On June 13, 1970 he married Monica Martin in Wichita Falls. Robert was a machinist for Howmet and had worked at Wilson Manufacturing for 13 years. He served as Treasurer of the Machinist Union.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Walters of Wichita Falls; daughter, Jody Dawn Walters of Wichita Falls; sister, Sherry Krajca of Atlanta, GA; brother, John Daniel Walters, Jr. of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Emily Walters and Callie Walters. He was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Martin Walters in 2010.
Memorial services will be 4:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Jermiah Heydt and Roger Derrinwater officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
