Hard-working, humorous, resilient, adventurous, faithful, beloved, stubborn, and strong-willed, Sherry brought a steady presence and a spirited heart to those who knew and loved her.
Sherry graduated from Petrolia High School in 1984.
In October of 1983, she married James Wayne Evans, and together they had three children. She was a very active and fun mom. She loved riding motorcycles and outdoor activities with her kids.
She grew up with a love for dirt bikes, open roads and the country life, interests that reflected her adventurous nature and the joy she found in simple, meaningful moments.
Sherry was a member of First Baptist Church of Dean, and she loved her Church Family.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Charley Halford Jr.
She leaves behind three children, Brandy Fondren and husband William, Christine Chimienti and husband Jayson, and Travis Evans; six grandkids: David Fondren, April Fondren, Korbin Fondren, Ella Fondren, Taylee Evans, and Brody Evans; four great-grandkids; seven siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special thanks to her church family from the First Baptist Church in Dean, Senior Care of Wichita Falls, and Hospice of Wichita Falls, for all of their love, support, and care.
