Viola Grinnell

Viola Compton Grinnell, 84, passed away Sunday December 4, 2011 in Wichita Falls, TX. Private Family services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Anthony West officiating.

Mrs. Grinnell was born July 14, 1927 to Morgan Fitzgerald and Margaret (Robinson) Compton. She married Ernest Allen Grinnell Sr. and was married for 46 years. She was a Housewife and a Beautician. She was also a Christian and loved children. She took care of teachers kids that worked for City View ISD.

She is survived by one daughter Toni Gentry and husband Mike of Venus, Texas, one son Allen Grinnell and wife Annetti of Burkburnett, Texas, 8 grandchildren Jennifer Cade, Jamie Cade, Jessica Santanna, Jeremy Gentry, Shawn Gentry, Casey Allen Grinnell, Cody Lee Grinnell, Catlin Shannon Grinnell, 7 great- grandchildren, 4 sisters, Hazel Yonts, Joyce Baker and husband Rayneil, Cleda Bentley, Lana White and husband Roland, 1 brother John Compton and wife Gloria.

She is preceded in Death by her parents, husband Ernest Allen Grinnell, Sr., 3 brothers Calvin Compton, Charles Compton, Pete Compton, 1 sister Lois Waddell, and 2 great- grandchildren Dustin and Dylan Darouse.

Visitation will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas.
