Visitation will be held at 10 AM Monday March 11, 2024 at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at Hampton Vaughan at 11 AM.
Mrs. Knecht was born August 22, 1936 in Electra, TX to Grady L. and Alta Raye (Walker) Jarmon. She married Leonard Knecht on June 24, 1953. She worked civil service at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital. Virginia loved the Lord; she loved her church, especially teaching Sunday School. And she loved her family.
Survivors include her husband Leonard Knecht; 2 children, Richard Knecht, Kathy Drake and husband Derek; 5 grandchildren, Kim Francis and husband Derek, Kelli Wyrick and husband Eric, Matt Drake and wife Kelly, Katy Barnhill and husband Jamie, and Tyler Knecht and wife Stephanie; 12 great grandchildren, Atlee Wyrick, Gunner Wyrick, Daley Smythe, Aubrey Francis, Anna Drake, William Drake, Walker Drake, Drake Barnhill, Bree Barnhill, Brock Barnhill, Eleanor Knecht, and Josephine Knecht; siblings, Mike McCollough, Gloria Hammock, Kay Cox, and Judy McCollough. Preceded in death by her parents; sibling Grady Glen Jarmon.
