Ada White

Ada was born August 30, 1926 to Harvey and Anna (Kester) Rich in Franklin County near Rantoul, KS. She graduated from Wellsville High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dell White; brothers, Elmer, John and Henry Rich; sister, Mary (Rich) Travis.

She is survived by daughters, Rita (George) Creegan, Cheryl (Hugh) Tessendorf both of Wichita, KS; son' Bobby (Karyl) White of Nickerson, KS; sister, Ruth (Rich) Emry of CA; grandchildren, Bryan White and Amy (Leon) Boyea both of Nickerson KS, Crystal (Anthony) Christopher of Port Richey, FL; great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Aidan White both of Wichita, KS, Leon James Boyea of Nickerson, KS and Kamrynn White of Walton, KS.

She enjoyed her family, square dancing, camping and fishing.

Visitation with family present will be held from 1pm-3pm on Sunday, March10, 2013 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 5701 E. Mt. Vernon, Wichita with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Mount Vernon United Methodist Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
