Angela K Lafleur

Angela K. LaFleur, 70, of Wichita, KS, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Born in Sparta, Greece, on August 7, 1954, to her parents, Antonio and Penelope (Polemenakos) Karedias. Her family made the decision to move to the United States when she was 13 years old.

After graduating from high school, she earned her degree to become a registered nurse (R.N.). She worked as a travel nurse, journeying all over the United States until her retirement. After retiring, she met her spouse, Arthur Blick, and they celebrated a loving 10 years together until her passing.

Angela had two main passions: gardening and her dogs. When she wasn't spoiling her six Chihuahuas, she was busy tending to her garden. She planted a wide variety of flowers, fruits, and vegetables, with sunflowers and classic roses among her favorites. Occasionally, Angela could also be seen disco dancing.

Preceded in death by her parents, but leaving to cherish her memories are her spouse, Brother John Karedias, Daughter Penelope James, 2 Grandchildren, 5 sisters-in-law, and 3 brothers-in-law.

A Celebration of Life service will take place Friday, March 28, 2025, at 1 PM at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary located at 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211.
