Anna met Charles D. Hanna in high school and later married at West Wichita Missionary Church in Wichita. She played the piano, taught piano lessons in her spare time and sang in church choirs. Anna loved reading, crocheting, gardening, genealogy and making art whether that be drawing or painting. She started her career as a physical therapist assistant around the age of 40 years old, and retired from that career in her early sixties.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her infant sister, Betty Jo Fulcher; her husband, Charles D. Hanna.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Debra (Matthew) Lee; her son, David (Paula) Hanna; her grandchildren: Valerie (David Gillespie) Machado, Sean (Melissa) Hanna and Miles Lee; her great-grandchildren: Natalie Machado, Emily Machado, Landon Gillespie and infant baby girl, Suzanne Hanna who arrives in a few weeks.
A visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, located at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on February 13, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a funeral service to follow beginning at 10:00 am in the chapel. A committal service will take place after the funeral service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, also at 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209 in The Garden of Gospels.
