Towns, Arneta Ruth (Ott), Ruth passed away July 2, 2017. She was born September 14, 1923 in Lockwood, MO to Fred and Minny Ott. The love of her life, Lawrence, passed away 9 ½ years ago. They were married for 64 years. She was den mother for the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and PTA president of Eureka School for 2 years. She worked at Boeing and Western Control. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Ruth is survived by sons Steve (Sue) and Jim (Candy); daughters Linda (Charles) Weems and Deb (Russ) Odle; grandchildren Douglas (Hawley) Towns, Aaron (Betsy) Towns, Kim (Jeff) Hendricks, Tonya Weems, Lisa (Mike) Heath, Brett Towns, and Chloe (Lacey) Stodle; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister Beatrice, whom she adored; 3 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday July 5 from 6-8 pm and funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday July 6, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Plane of Mercy.
