Betty Spingler

Spingler, Betty M., 92, passed away on October 2, 2013 with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward E. and Fern (Hull) McDaniel, sister Lila M. Horchem, brother Robert E. McDaniel.

She is survived by her niece and nephew-in-law Debra and Richard Dickerhoff and her great nephew Eddie Dickerhoff and her dear friend Gloria June Gibson.

She worked in real estate for H.C. Brady Co. and Paul R. Brown and Associates, Inc. She was instrumental in merging Paul R. Brown Real Estate with Dale Reed Insurance forming Reed-Brown Associates, Inc., Real Estate and Insurance. She was a Realtor for over 50 years. She served as president of the Wichita Board of Realtors and Chairperson of the Board of Professional Standards and Ethics Committee for the State Board of Realtors in Topeka. She served as president of Soroptimist. She belonged to Ivy Leaf Chapter #75 O.E.S. and Zohar Temple #65 D.O.N. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation with family, 4:30pm-7:30pm Wed., Oct. 9th at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Celebration of Life Service, 11am, Thurs. Oct 10th at West Side United Methodist Church, with Graveside service to follow at 1:30pm at Harper City Cemetery, Harper, KS.

Memorial to Salvation Army and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
