Working with Cathy in the laboratory at St. Joseph was a wonderful time.  As a very young and new boss, she was kind to impart her wisdom to me and let me think it was my idea. I have very fond memories of working with her.  We will all miss her.

Cathy was always so thoughtful and helpful.  I remember her from the lab at St Joseph Hospital.  She was always ready to just get in there and get things done.  She will be missed.

I remember so many lovely times with Cathy in junior high and high school.  Her gentle, strong spirit was admired by so many of us and as I said on the East High Ace site, her dimples arrived in a room before she did!  So many of the class of '70 are especially cherishing the time we have had with her since the 40th reunion.  There is one very special ladies' luncheon none of us will ever forget and I will hold on tightly to the wonderful conversation she and I had.  Jim, our fellow Ace, she was so lucky to build her life with you.  Love and prayers to you and your family in this difficult time.

I sat here for quite some time searching through my mind for the right words to share with everyone, but nothing I could say sounded right. I came to the conclusion that words don't do her any justice. She is someone who will never be forgotten and all of her acts of generosity will forever impact the people she helped. My prayers go out to Henry, Emily, and Dan.

Dear sister, 
For years I talked to Dad at 7:00 AM on Saturday mornings. The week after he died, my phone rang at 7:00 AM Saturday morning. 
You, of course. 
You said you thought I might feel a little lonely at that moment.  That is one small example of how thoughtful you are. I cherished our Saturday morning phone calls. I will miss you so much, but I will see you in 'a little while'.

Praying God will comfort you and your family. I remember having so much fun playing "Barbie" with Cathy and later taking Driver's Ed together. I'm so sad to learn of her illness and passing. God bless you.

Cathy, I remember the day we met when I was in 5th grade, you were in 6th. I always liked & admired you all through school. It has been wonderful to grow up, marry your brother & become sisters-in-law with you. The last few years Jim & I have really looked forward to you & Jim visiting us. Your Mom will be greatly missed. I am so thankful for the many family memories we have to look back on.  All the snow ski trips, beach weekends, Disney  World, lake days, volleyball games and Holidays, so many fun times.

I remember the same beach trip. You gave us M&M's to eat when you put us on the plane home so our ears wouldn't pop from the altitude. We will never forget!

Dear Aunt Cathy-

I remember taking a trip to Galveston with the Ledbetters when I was about 7 years old. It was one of the first times I took a trip without my parents. I remember being brave, but when it came time to go to bed, I felt sad and you laid by me and Dan and kissed me on the forehead and said you loved me. It put my mind to ease and I fell right asleep.  You are so special to me and I cherish the memories I have of you and the family.
