Never going to forget all the wonderful blessings GOD allowed us to share together, and how you always wanted to remind me of how old I was.(Often) Lol. You are truly going to be missed, but never forgotten, visiting Kansas will never be the same again without seeing your Big smiling face cuz, but I know you’re in heaven now, right where you belong! Cousin Charles rest easy, and I Love you so very much!

Charles was a close friend of family.
We, sister and I met him when mom invited him over for Thanksgiving he is featured on a home video in 1990 and a picture of all three of us;

Dad and me and Charles in photograph which is now lost to time. The only photo I had of all three of us. Charles himself was humourous much like my father who died Oct 7th last year at 69. I used to call him The Prince of Darkness and he would call Alpine White. I loved him very much. He's probably in heaven playing poker with my dad and our friend Kerry Trent who died on Election Day in a gyrocopter crash in November last year. And now my best friend who pasted away in December also last year.
My sister baby sat his kids when they were young. LOVE YOU VERY MUCH MAN.
Dad can now see.
Kerry no longer needs a pilots license.
Charles has an unlimited supply of cigarettes.

Uncle Charles, you are so missed. I remember being little & you always brought my sisters and I the best candy, and the loudest toys just to irritate my parents. You always thought it was hilarious, we did too. Then one day we are all grown, and you're doing the same for all of our kids. You were my dad's best friend & brother, & our hearts all hurt now that you're gone. The best uncle, the best dresser, & you always had a smart ass comment & a hearty laugh to follow. You will be so missed, watch over us all, give Neasie a big hug! Love you forever Uncle Charles

I grew up knowing all the brothers and playing basketball with them except Charles. He’d be the one special commentating on the side pointing out something stupid or funny we’d do. I moved away and moved back to then play on the Stangs softball team and run into him again not knowing he was good friends with Brian Roads and that whole family also known as the Candy Man. Great sense of humor, kind heart and very funny. You’ll be missed dearly. Till we meet again. Love ya
