Christopher "Eddie" Edward Ravens

Christopher "Eddie" Edward Ravens, a devoted and gentle soul, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on January 24, 1970, in Wichita, Kansas, Eddie was known for his love of attending church and Sunday school, collecting Star Trek memorabilia, and enjoying vintage TV shows. He had a deep appreciation for music, with some of his favorite artists being Barbra Mandrell, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, and the Gaithers.

Eddie was an alumnus of the Institute of Logopedics and participated in the KETCH day program. He was a cherished member of the College Hill United Methodist Church community.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Angela Ravens, uncle Kent Ravens, aunt Linnea Glotzbach, and cousin Matthew Glotzbach. He is survived by his caring mother, Anita, great aunt Charlene Ravens, and cousins Cindy (Chris) Deming, Rich (Amy) Sparkman, Daniel Ravens, Christina (John) Bridges, Elizabeth (Michael) Farar, Angela (Joshua) Vineyard, Stephanie (Shelby) Maskrid, and Paula Smith. Eddie also leaves behind 21 second cousins and two third cousins.

Eddie will be remembered for his passion for collecting music records. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation with family present will be held at Devorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, located at 201 South Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211, on February 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for February 20, 2026, at 10:00 am at College Hill United Methodist Church, 2930 E 1st St N, Wichita, KS 67214.

A graveside service will follow on February 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver St., Wichita, KS 67208.
