just sitting here at work thinking about my mama, she was a beautiful, strong willed woman of God... birthed and raised 8 children, and even a few of her grandchildren... could cook like no other, could "sho nuf" sang...not sing, girlfriend was an awesome vocalist... loved her deeply,..and really miss her...  Love you ma, Drenda

I cannot express the pain that I am feeling right now! I was honored to hold you in my arms as you went on to be with the Lord, and I will never forget that day! Rest now, you are free! No more suffering! I love you!

To the Canidy family, my heart was sadden at the loss of your mother, but at the same time rejoiced as heaven; welcomed home from rehearsal, a precious gem that lived the life that she sung about in her songs! What a great example of motherhood/sainthood she left as a legacy. I will remember this strong woman of God. She carried herself in a dignified manner that exemplified the fruit of the spirit with her gracious mannerism. As our families grew up together at Holy Temple, Canidy family: Barbara, Rachelle, Eugene, Teddy, Drenda, Jackie & Tony, continue to love, forgive & stay together--you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Canidy Family-So sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. Praying for you all, that God gives you,the strength, the comfort, and the love to cope each day.

We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Mother Canidy.  We were not aware of her passing and was unable to attend the services.  She was an integral part of my life and was loved dearly.  She will be truly missed.  I know she is in heaven and singing in the heavenly choir.  Our love goes out to the family.  She was an example to her family as well as to us.  May God's blessings continue to flow and bless you richly.

Mother Canidy will be deeply miss I love how she sung walk around heaven all day now it's her turn and when the choir would sing Wonderful we would have church even in rehearsal and she could bake the best germen chocolate cake you ever ate.
