A sudden loss brings news of the passing of Daniell Jolene (Courson) Harmon on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. A ruptured aneurysm cut short a life full of love at the age of 38. She was born in Wichita, on January 11, 1986, to Michael Shane and Georgia Jeanne Mears-Courson and was sister to, Erika and Steven.
Being a prankster, Daniell often played jokes on her siblings. She’d put her sister Erika in a stroller, took her to the back of the house, tipped her upside down and left her. Yet fun with friends brought intense joy, especially when she and best friend Chrissy wanted to ride in the trunk of the car, so they could be with everyone, and they laughed so hard, “Chrissy peed herself.” And what about love? It began young when she met Jesse Harmon on the school bus and time getting to know each other brought her a love that filled her every emotion and won her heart which brought them together in the union of marriage on April 13, 2001. To this children, Ashlynn, Tristin, Trica, and Aaron made her a mom and gave her family she’d dearly love.
When not giving her all to her family, you’d find her "bumping" her music, coloring, watching the Sons of Anarchy (we can't forget, Jax Teller was going to be her future husband) and drinking Code Red slurpees, collecting pens and Juicy Couture Perfume, Colts Car, and one of her many cats and dogs, Lady, Gigi, Tater Tot, Fluffy, and Kooter Brown. No matter where she was or who was around, she was funny and had a heart of gold.
Preceded by her father, Michael; grandparents; Pat and Jim Mears and Paul Courson; and niece, Shyenne.
Those left to continue sharing her memory of laughter and love include her mother, Georgia; sister, Erika Jeanne Courson; brother, Steven Storm Courson; husband, Jesse; and children; Ashlynn Jolene (Colton) Cook, Tristin Jeanne ("Jayson with a Y") Moler, Tricia Shane (Juan) Harmon and Aaron Lamor Harmon; her in-laws;grandchildren, Jasper and Jolene; many nieces and nephews, and others she loved.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2PM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Bethel Life Center, 3777 S. Meridian Ave., Wichita, KS 67217.
All floral deliveries should go directly to Bethel Life Center as Resthaven is not involved in the services. Thank you
