Linda,Scott, Steve and David, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing especially so soon after you lost your dad.  My heart goes out to you and your families during this difficult time.  They were a special couple and I remember the many happy times we spent together laughing, singing and spending time at the lake. May their spirit live on forever.

To all the McKenzies, We all join you in missing Aunt Judy and Uncle Bill.  
I have so many great memories of our times together at the house in south Wichita, and the house out east.
Getting together at your house was always a fun time and Aunt Judy and Uncle Bill always made us feel welcome.

I loved all of the family reunions, impromptu get togethers, weddings, dinners to celebrate Uncle Don, Aunt Betty or Aunt Ruth's visits, or one of the cousins....or any other reason they could think of to get together...
I feel truly blessed to be a part of this family.

Our parents taught us how to be a family.  How to stick together and how to enjoy our family.  The McKenzie family is a far reaching family, and I treasure the memories of all of the huge gatherings with all the aunts and uncles, cousins, grandkids and all.

Lots of smiles and laughter seemed to be the norm at the McKenzie house.  Lots of love!
And always something good to eat.  Aunt Judy always had something yummy to offer us on any visit.

We love you all and we share in your sorrow.  At the same time we share in the joy and confidence that Aunt Judy and Uncle Bill are together in heaven and completely filled with peace and the joy of the Lord.

I deeply regret that we are unable to join with everyone in the celebration of Aunt Judy’s life.  Other commitments make it too difficult for us to be there.  I’m very thankful that we were able to make it to Uncle Bills’ funeral and visit with everyone then.  The time I spent visiting with Aunt Judy then, is even more special now.    

Aunt Judy, Uncle Bill, Steve, Dave, Linda Scott and families, you are all in our thoughts.  

My mind overflows with fond memories of Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy’s kindness, caring and sharing.  It was truly a pleasure to spend time with them and hear stories of their lives when they were growing up and young adults.  I’ve long wished that I had taken more opportunities to join Bill and JT for a round of golf and bite to eat, so I could hear more.  I often regret that I never enjoyed the pleasure of playing a round of golf with Bill and Judy.  Aunt Betty’s writings, which Bill and others added to, sparked some wonderful conversations.   

At Uncle Bills’ funeral, I suggested to some that it would be enjoyable to have a McKenzie Memorial Golf Outing this fall after the heat breaks, where those who are interested may join in a days celebration of the lives and joys of Uncle Bill, Uncle JT and now Aunt Judy.  A round of golf, a bite to eat, and a chance to share stories will surely cause a few angels to smile.  I’d certainly enjoy spending some quality time with McKenzies.  Maybe late September or early October at Sims Park.
