DeWane R. Ewert, Rose Hill State Farm Agent, hunter, cowboy and Shriner, died November 5, 2018. He was born in 1934 in Hillsboro, KS. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He died surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11am, with viewing prior beginning at 10am.
PLEASE NOTE: Friday's edition of the Wichita Eagle is INCORRECT. The service IS AT 11AM, with viewing prior beginning at 10am.
Following the service please stay and greet family with a reception with refreshments, also at the church.
DeWane's final resting place will be at Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge, KS, interment will follow that afternoon, approximately 3:30pm.
