Donald R. Brazell

Brazell, Donald Ray, age 87, went to meet his savior on February 14, 2016. He was born April 15, 1928 in Hollis, OK. He loved and was dedicated to his God, family, and country. He was a faithful member of Glenn Park Christian Church for 59 years serving in many capacities and was honored as an Elder Emeritus. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served his country in the Army Air Corp. during World War II. Donald was employed at Giles & McCoy Machine Shop for many years and finished his career at various machine shops, retiring from American Metal Fab. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, YB and Anna Mae Brazell; sister, Helen Cunningham. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ileta (Muir) Brazell; son, David (Nancy) Brazell, Brush Prairie, WA. ; daughter, Deanna (Don) Keimig, Wichita, KS.; son, Danny (Vickie) Brazell, Wichita, KS.; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. There will be a family visitation at Resthaven Mortuary on Wednesday evening, February 17, from 6-8 pm. Service at Glenn Park Christian Church, 2757 S. Glenn on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 1 pm followed by a burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory with a Military Honor Guard. Memorials may be sent to Glenn Park Christian Church.
