Our beloved Donna Ruby Becker, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born December 13, 1934 in Deer Park Township, Minnesota, the daughter of Theodore and Florence (Rodman) Hamm.
Donna was united in marriage to Harold J. Becker in June of 1953, until his passing in August of 1988, then she was re-married to Harold D. Becker in November of 1992, until his passing in May of 2021.
Donna worked as a home daycare provider for many years and loved working with her kids. Donna was an avid seamstress for many different things such as clothes and upholstery. Her favorite passions were gardening, planting a variety of flowers, ballroom dancing, and going traveling anywhere and everywhere.
Donna was a true Angel in the lives of all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Theodore and Florence Hamm; her husbands, Harold J. Becker and Harold D. Becker; her son, Gene Becker; her daughter-in-law, Ruby Becker; her three brothers, Walter Hamm, Theodore Hamm, and Ervin Hamm; along with her step-grandson, Charles "Chuck" Becker.
She is survived by: her daughter, Patricia (Randall) Sewell; her brothers, Forrest Hamm, Roger Hamm, Gerald Hamm and Daryl Hamm; her 5 grandchildren, Karl (Andrea) Venneberg, Lena (Tameca) Becker, Dana (Tony) Ivory, Amanda (Colby) Jones and Duane (Amanda) Becker; her step-grandson, Kevin Becker; her 14 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kristen, Jason, Grant, Aurora, Thor, Cole, Kloie, Joss, Kolbi, Kaidyn, Jace, Lucas and Madilyn; 1 great-great grandchild; along with two step-sons, Ron (Charlene) Becker and Kerri (Nancy) Becker.
We will miss her every day, but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, watching over us like the Angel she always was.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 1:00 PM, and the Funeral Liturgy at 1:30 PM, all on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Lord's Prayer, Wichita.
