Dottie enjoyed playing games and going to coffee with her church friends and other residents of her apartment. She always loved being with her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Gladys Cotter; husband, Merle Barton; and siblings, Betty Lou German, Darlene Brock, Donald Cotter, Dexter Cotter, Dixie Clark, Jean Stone and Jerry Cotter.
Survived by her children, Caron Combs, Bryan (Jan) Barton and Kathy (Robert) Bowling; grandchildren, Brandee (Will) Lewis, Barton Bowling, James Pritchard, Amber (Eric) Lagaly, Tyler Barton and Melanie (JOT) Thorne; as well as great-grandchildren.
A come and go viewing will be available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
Funeral service for Dottie will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, June 9, 2023 at Westview Baptist Church, 1325 S. Meridian Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67213. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Everlasting Life.
